The New Brunswick Environmental Law Society (NBELS) has been working on the idea of an Environmental Bill of Rights for New Brunswick.  On Thursday, August 19th, the group unveiled the proposed legislation at a press conference.  The Petitcodiac Riverkeeper was present to support the initiative.

The new Riverkeeper is confident the Petitcodiac River’s health will be restored.

Moncton, June 16th, 2010 - The organization Petitcodiac Riverkeeper announced today that Marco Morency is taking over as the Petitcodiac Riverkeeper. He will now lead the organization to accomplish its mission to promote, protect and restore the Petitcodiac River.
